Goulbourn Recreation Complex
LEED-NC® Silver Certified
The Goulbourn Recreation Complex recently expanded with an addition of 23,000 sq ft, including a new gym and fitness facility. This project was led by CSV Architects alongside a skilled team comprising Halsall Engineers, McKee Engineering, Lashley & Associates, and Capital Engineering Group. The expansion aims to support a variety of community functions, from health programs to social gatherings.
Sustainable features
Marking its place as one of Ottawa’s first leading LEED Silver projects, the Goulbourn Recreation Complex sets a higher standard in sustainable building practices within the city. The project incorporated a wide range of sustainable design features, which will reduce energy consumption, the use of natural resources, impact on the environment, and improve occupant health and comfort.
