CSV Architects is looking for a JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT to join our team. 

CSV Architects focuses on the design of institutional, commercial and non-profit/social housing residential projects.  CSV has been designing 'green' buildings since before sustainability gained mainstream appeal.  CSV offers a variety of environmental design consulting services to architecture and engineering firms, contractors, developers, municipalities, and private clients:  

  • LEED® certification and submission coordination
  • Green Globes certification and submission coordination
  • Passive House certification and submission coordination
  • Integrated Design Process (IDP) facilitation
  • Energy Modelling; integrated with BIM for a true sustainable design tool
  • Energy efficiency incentive funding options (HPNC, etc.)
  • Sustainability Action Plans for corporations, municipalities and schools
  • Waste Management Plans
  • Design of Sustainable Purchasing Plans
  • Design of Green Cleaning Programs
  • Implementation of durable building strategies

JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT

Responsibilities:

  • Support in-house team in coordinating multiple green building projects,
  • Management of project team to coordinate and complete LEED documentation & submission,
  • Liaise with CaGBC and USGBC on LEED project reviews,
  • Assist in-house team in facilitating design workshops and Integrated Design Process,
  • Assist with various aspects of CSV Sustainability inititives.

Qualifications:

  • LEED AP or LEED GA with experience working on LEED projects,
  • In-depth knowledge of LEED Green Building programs including submission requirements and procedures,
  • Knowledge of architecture and construction,
  • Experience with contract administration and field review,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Driver’s license

Assets (not mandatory):

  • Involvement in the green building / sustainability community,
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with Life Cycle Assessment and Life Cycle Costing
  • Carbon accounting
  • Energy management or commissioning
  • Energy modeling
  • Passive House knowledge
  • French language communication skills
  • Marketing skills
